Novum Networks Leading Unified Communications And Collaboration Platform Is Now Integrated With Microsoft Teams

Novum Networks is happy to announce its latest third-party application integration with Microsoft Teams on its Unified Communications platform, allowing end users to utilise MS Teams for all their collaboration needs and the Novum UCx app for calling.

This offers customers already using MS Teams a Cloud PBX calling solution that can result in seamless and continuous workflows. Novum Networks is the first Australian-based carrier to allow calling into MS Teams via the Cisco WebEx Calling app and utilises its own infrastructure and services to deliver calls.

UCx Cloud Calling Integrations

The new integration exposes users to Novum’s UCx calling buttons in Microsoft Teams itself, providing an easy and flexible way to make outbound calls directly from the app. To enable this integration all you need to do is simply select the UCx client you are using for calling (eg: search Webex Call) and click ‘Add’. When you have successfully added the calling integration, you can launch UCx directly from Teams on your desktop.

There are no complex back end changes, no call routing policies or dial plan changes to make, no additional licenses required, and no new hardware to manage. You can fire up this integration right away. More importantly, the integration will also allow the full benefits of the Novum Networks Cloud PBX platform to be used such as Auto Attendants, Hunt Groups. The solution acts as an extension to the existing Cloud PBX and can be easily integrated with non-MS Teams users.
